Show A NOD 'H A NUDGE Bud Brain, not content with remodeling re-modeling and getting ready to reopen re-open one of the niftiest stores in all Sugar House, came back from the Teton basin this week with all the fish the law allows. Bud and his party invaded the streams at the foot of the spectacular spec-tacular Tetons above Driggs, and believe it or not, he caught his limit opening day on FLIES! Incidentally, a visit to his new shop Thursday or Friday will be mightily rewarding, for it will show one and all something new in new men's store arrangements. Opening date on Idaho fishing drew Sugar House residents last week. Donald B. Alder, John Fetzer, Jr., Richard Keddington and Nathan Na-than Hale (he's manager of the Country club) left Tuesday, June 3 for Island Park. They planned to meet Harold Keddington and Owen Duffin (the ice cream man) there. Interested observers in the 2600 block on 19th East saw Don and John load so many minnow traps, flys, spinners, nets, creels and other gear into the trunk of Fetzer's car they didn't understand how Keddington and Hale would be able to stow their own gear into the car. The group returned home Friday night- Also from the Highland Park area of Sugar House, went Dale Wlilde and Norm Forsberg. They extended their trip through Idaho into Montana and returned just last night. O |
