A ., irwii y - y j SPACE ROCKET Children of all ages who find themselves becoming fascinated with the thought of space travel will find their imaginations whetted whet-ted by a huge life-size rocketship which will appear at the Grand Central Market, 750 East 21st South, between 10 a. m. and 7 p. m., Saturday, June 14. Called the Ralston Rocket-Terra IV, the 35 foot, $30,000 metal monster mon-ster has been built as a replica of the rocket battle cruiser used by Commander Buzz Corry of the "Space Patrol," popular radio and television series. The space adventure ad-venture series is heard in Salt . Lake via KUTA and seen, beginning begin-ning June 14, via KSL-TV. During the stay at the Grand Central Market, children and their space minded parents will have the opportunity to tour the interior in-terior of the visitor from outer space, with admission being set at one box top trom any Kaiston cereal. The compartments of the Ralston Ral-ston Rockets are outfitted with hundreds of gadgets, lights, switches, levers and working instruments in-struments in addition to a fascinating fascin-ating view of Terra, the 30th century cen-tury city of the future. The streets of the city are filled with streaking streak-ing "jet cars," while the surrounding sur-rounding countryside is filled with buildings housing lab oratories, launching platforms and other de. vices used by the inhabitants. Each off the gadgets, including the many cockpit controls, may be manipulated by the rocket's visitors visi-tors who desire to simulate flight through space. |
