Show ROBERT TCBHESEiS PIIE Making their home in Salt Lake after a short wedding trip are just-weds Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lane Tonnesen who recited vows Friday evening. The new Mrs. Tonnesen is the former Laurel Ann Bowthorpe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L Bowthorpe, 2S56 Valley View Ave. The bridegroom is the son of Alice Tonnesen, 1133 East Third South. She chose a ballerina length gown of lace and tulle over taffeta. It was styled with short sleeves, fitted bodice fashioned of softly gathered lace. The V-neckline was edged in ruffles of tulle. A tiara of pearls and rhinestones held the lace-edged veil of tulle in place. A white orchid circled with pink carnations was her bridal bouquet. Attending the bride were Mrs. II. W. Bowthorpe, Miss Janice Deb-enham, Deb-enham, Miss Deanna Hannen, Miss Jolene Workman) Miss Jacke Lynn Bowthorpe. They were gowned in pastel ballerina length frocks and carried colonial bouquets. Herbert Bowthorpe, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Dell Gunderson, Lt. Ben Bowthorpe, Ronald Hills, Gus Lambson, Wayne Anderson and Don Gunderson. The ceremony was recited in the Hyrum Jensen home, 2700 Highland High-land Dr., and performed by Bertell S. Bunker. Immediately following the parents of the bride honored Jie couple with a reception. Prenuptial parties were given by Donna Bowthorpe, Jolene Workman, Janice Debenham and Ellen Nelson. |
