Stroud, popular Sugar House police officer, this week takes over as president of the Salt Lake Antelope Island chapter of the International Footprinters Association. The veteran officer is widely known as an ambulance driver in the Sugar House division. Salt Lake City Commissioner L. C. Romney becomes first vice president, July 1; George LaTulipe, policeman, second vice; Pete Ec-ker, Ec-ker, third vice; L. E. Olson, policeman, police-man, fourth, and Jimmy James, fifth vice president. Don Beck is secretary and Clyde Smith treasurer. Installation will be later in July, with Police Capt. L. C. Crowther, a grand chapter vice president and Horace Beck, legal adviser for the international order, assisting assist-ing in the ceremonies. Pres. Stroud just returned from his vacation, most of which was spent at Catalina where the international in-ternational organization held its annual convention. Enroute, the Strouds visited Las Vegas and California Cal-ifornia spas and Mexicali in old Mexico. |
