Show Lamp Post To Grace Museum An old type lamp post, one of the first used when electricity came to the city, will be retired to the museum. It has been a landmark for 70 years at 73 South West Temple, is of a style erected by property owners, own-ers, and is believed to have been erected by the late Henry W. Lawrence, Law-rence, owner of the property between be-tween 1889 and 1890. Horace A. Sorensen, has obtained the post for the Sons of Utah Pioneer Pi-oneer Museum at 2998 Connor St. The city commission has agreed to move the post and present it to the museum. The museum will now be open every Sunday from 2 to 6 p. m., and appointments for groups, clubs and schools may be made without charge. |
