Show IIOLDAZE FURS AFFAIR DRAWS THRONGS Holladay LDS Fourth ward completed com-pleted its two day Holidaze Fund-fest Fund-fest Saturday night, with hundreds of folk attending the novel bazaar and carnival. General chairman was Neils H. Hansen, assisted by Bishop Allen Terry, who assisted with supervision super-vision of the gay affair. A vaudeville and picture show also were given to help entertain those who didn't ride the ponies. A country store, a delicious smorg. asbord, merry go round, hay rides and all manner of carnival entertainments enter-tainments were offered. One of the most novel stunts was the planting of 500 live trout 'n the gift fishpond. Proceeds from the affair will be used to help finance the Fourth ward chapel and the Cottonwood stake house. |
