Show Sunset .... and Beyond Mrs. Winnifred Saville Cannon, Can-non, 71, widow of the late Syl vester Q. Cannon, former member mem-ber of the Council of Twelve of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died last Friday Fri-day at her apartment. Death was attributed to causes incident to age. Mrs. Cannon was the mother of D. James Cannon, former editor and publisher of The Bulletin and present executive secretary of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce. Also surviving sur-viving are the following sons and daughters: Julian S. Cannon, Can-non, Mrs. Elinor Cannon Robinson, Robin-son, and Mrs. Lucile Cannon Richards, all of Salt Lake; Win-field Win-field Q. Cannon and Mrs. Sylvia Cannon O'Connor, both of Los ' Angeles, and Dr. Lawrence 3. Cannon of Berkeley, Calif. The prominent church worker was born in Salt Lake City and was educated in Salt Lake Schools and resided here all her life except from 1907 to 1910 when her husband was president of the Netherlands Mission of the LDS church. |
