MAXWELL MAX-WELL who recently moved into the ward and are making their home at 2024 Elizabeth Street. Mrs. Maxwell has joined the M.I.A. teaching staff . . . JAMES L. PALMER was ordained a deacon dea-con recently. DALE PARKINSON was at church on Sunday with his folks, the WILLIAM PARKINSONS, PARKIN-SONS, 1353 Ramona. Dale's home is in Ogden . . . Best wishes for a speedy recovery co this week to NANCY TEN-NEY, TEN-NEY, 1185 Westminster who is ill with the flu. Nancy came from England not so long ago to make her home here . . . With THIS and THAT By Leah Bond A bit of diamond news RAY WITZEL didn't let any grass grow under his feet when he returned from his mission. He's placed a diamond on lovely ArERLA MERRILL'S finger. Verla will be leaving soon for an L. D. S. rhission so Ray will have to wait a while for his missionary gal . . , MRS. GLADYS NELSON, 1948 Douglas, Doug-las, is convalescing after a recent re-cent operation and MARGARET BORG, 1120 Wilson, is doing her best to recover from a broken leg suffered in a skiing accident. Cupid is really working overtime over-time hereabouts. JOANNE FOWLES and RENE HuNTER jumped the gun on spring and were married in February. CO-LEEN CO-LEEN CHRISTENSEN and JAY MARLEY are both planning plan-ning to be married soon . . . Several of our ward gal; have recently been employed by the telephone company.
