Show Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Jensen Head Welfare Dinner Committee "Let's make a date for a plate at the Highland View Welfare Stew" is the poetic invitation extended to residents of Highland High-land View Ward in East Mill Creek Stake. The banquet and program are slated for Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m.. In the amusement amuse-ment hall of the Rosecrest Ward chapel, 3101 S. 23rd East, according to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Jensen, co-chairmen of the big event. Tickets now are being distrib-I distrib-I utcd to all residents of the ward, whose boundaries are: 2fith and 2520 East (west line), 33rd South (south line), 2700 South (north line), and the Wasatch Wa-satch mountains (cast). Chair man of the t;cket drive is Ru-lon Ru-lon H. Clark, 2812 S. 2520 East. He will be assisted by John Lambert, William J. Naylor, T. Frank Nelson, and Douglas H. Brammer. All organizations of the ward are working on the event, which will be the major activity of the ward since its founding on Oct. 23, 1919. It is anticipated that more than -100 people will attend the function. The dinner din-ner and program proceeds will be used to pay the ward's welfare wel-fare allotment. Topflight ward talent will be featured on the program, according ac-cording to Mr. Jensen. |
