She is now an airline stewardess with headquarters head-quarters in Denver . . . Plans are underway for New Year's eve to be spent in many diiffer-ent diiffer-ent ways but many of those plans are tentative pending the outcome of sniffles and such of small fry. Seems that the measles meas-les are just simply going the rounds and if you haven't had them already in your family you just might any time . . . Here's for the best of everything for all our readers in the coming year . . . HAPPY NEW YEAR. Christmas day was so much fun for everyone ... At Sunday Sun-day School the small folk of the ward were just beaming over the presents that they were carrying with them or the ones still home under the tree. New clothes were much in evidence as were shining new dolls for the girls and toys of almost. every ev-ery description for the boys . . .. For the Sunday School program BOB THOMPSON'S CHORUS rendered a beautiful Christmas cantata. They were featured on a radio program Wednesday noon by the way and their friends are mighty proud of them . . . PRESIDENT HARRY T. OSCARSON talked on Christmas Christ-mas and the ward choir completed com-pleted the progranvwith appropriate appro-priate music . . . Home for Christmas is the IRV TWITCH-ELL TWITCH-ELL family. The Twitchells came from their California home to stay wfth MRS. TWITCH-ELL'S TWITCH-ELL'S folks, the JOSEPH DA-VISES DA-VISES on 14th East. Sons EUGENE EU-GENE and DUANE accompanied accompan-ied them ... Off to Idaho the day after the holiday were the LEO CUTLER family. They've gone to attend the wedding of FERN'S sister BETTY. Fern is to be matron of honor and small KALEEN will be a flower flow-er girl for the big event. . . The MERLIN JONES family left after Sunday School for Ogden to spend the day with GRANDMOTHER GRAND-MOTHER BALL and family . . . At the JOSEPH B. GARRETT home MARK is home for his last leave before going overseas to the Far East with the Army . . . Seems to have been a simply wonderful day for everyone . ; . ARCHIBALD BENNETT, who has traveled extensively in Europe Eu-rope will be the speaker on Sunday Sun-day evening in meeting. The program is under the direction of the GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY SOCI-ETY . . . CALVIN PENDLETON PENDLE-TON will give his homecoming address on Jan. 8. . . Due to he holiday Friday will be stake baptismal clay this month with Fast Day falling on the first Sunday as usual . . . Among the lovely Christmas gifts being shown around is a beautiful dia- |
