Show Imperial Ward Schedules Harvest Banquet Sept. 15 One thousand people are ex-, pected to dinner at the Imperial Harvest banquet on Saturday, Sept. 15, 1951. The banquet is being given by the new Imperial Ward to swell the building fund for the new chapel which is near-ing near-ing completion on Atkin Avenue between Fillmore and Glenmare streets. The harvest banquet is sponsored spon-sored by the Third and Fourth Quorum of Elders and Delbert 1 Fagg is general chairman. Members of the ward relief society will serve the banquet and all the food is being furnished by a committee of 10 ward members. Mr. Fagg extends an invitation invita-tion to all members to come out and help swell the building fund and get the spirit of the theme, "Take your friends to dinner." A contribution of one dollar entitles en-titles the contributor to a free dinner. Construction on the chapel is I progressing rapidly according to Mr. Fagg and members have set October 30 as completion date. The labor on the building is being donated by ward members. Gene Kelly, president of the Fourth Quorum of Elders, is assisting as-sisting with the general arrangements arrange-ments for the harvest banquet. |
