Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond Scout Sunday will be observed ob-served in all the churches on Feb. 5. In our own ward a special spe-cial program has been planned by Troop 64. Guest speaker for the evening will be MARK NICHOLS. The Scouts will be out during this next week to .collect the papers that are being be-ing saved for them. At the S. M. Bigelow home, 1014 Wlson Ave., the Gleaners and M Men held a fireside last Sunday evening. The Special Interest group of the MIA had PAUL ROYAL as their speaker at the fireside on the same evening eve-ning at the Stanley Johnsons home, 1920 Thiriteenth East. Because of the interest shown in their revised book on the Word of Wisdom, Dr. JOHN A WIDTSOE and his wife will lecture at Barratt Hall on Fri day, Feb. 3, and each Friday through the 2-lth. This is in addition ad-dition to their series of lectures on the first Monday in each month in the same hall. There has been a change made in our stake baptismal day. Tuesday was the day for this month and hereafter it will be the last Tuesday in the month. LUCILLE CARLSON, who is I just new in the ward, has been sustained to lead the Youth Chorus in BOB THOMPSON'S place. BOB and DONNA will be leaving us shortly. On Tuesday all the ward Primary teachers went out on their annual penny drive. After their canvass was completed they were treated to a lovely warm luncheon prepared by the officers and served in the war3. Primary officers and teachers will meet on Monday evening at the home of DEON, MORGAN MOR-GAN for their teacher training lesson. STELLA NELSON and JANE GOSS will be the assisting as-sisting hostesses. By virtue of a chattel mortgage mort-gage executed by Credit Industrial In-dustrial Loan Plan and Jay Parker and Lee. R.
