With the help of Thelma Garff, John and Pattl are mapping plans for fountains, lights, etc., as embellishments to the Plaza. NEISEN R. BANK'S birthday, birth-day, last Tuesday, prompted Bud Brain to invite Neis as his guest for lunch. However, How-ever, Ray Free, Mickey Hart and ye editor overheard Bud's invitation, and so we all horned in on the party. Believe Be-lieve it or not. Bud paid for all the lunches in Neis' honor. Nice guy, eh? Incidentally, Neis claimed it was his 32nd birthday. Does anyone believe be-lieve him? IT WAS GOOD to see Hi Young on the street t'other day. It's been weeks since we've seen him in Sugar House, and the community isn't the same without with-out him. In case you didn't know it. Hi has been credited with the origination of Founder's Found-er's Day in Sugar House each April 23. Through careful research, re-search, he, learned that Sugar House was given its name 97 years ago, on April 23, 1854. WE SPOTTED Sugar House newcomer Berncll Coons in the local Grabcteria this week. He's beginning to act like a true Sugarite. We aso saw Roy Greensides of the Bryan Pharmacy in the Grab. A LITTLE SICK SPELL took Sid Ottley of The Paint Pot out of commission for awhile recently. re-cently. He was almost back to normal when The Bulletin went to press, which we are glad to report. |
