Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond Sunday evening was honor night for the Aaronic Priesthood, Priest-hood, who presented the program pro-gram commemorating the Restoration Res-toration of the Aaronic Priesthood Priest-hood as well as receiving rec- ognition for their past year's work. For their outstanding participation in all ward activities ac-tivities the two Deacons' quorums quo-rums were presented a certificate. certifi-cate. Gold pins were presented to the young fellows who had achieved this award for the past year. MAX ' GARRETT, who is serving a mission in South America, will be mailed his pin, which was accepted by his father, .JOSEPH B. GARRETT. GAR-RETT. Priests ROBERT PARRY, PAR-RY, LOWELL FAWSON and BILL RAWSON were present ed pans, as was JOE HARRIS, a teacher. The following deacons deac-ons were presented pins also: ROLLIN ANDERSON, ROGER NELSON. JAY NEIDERHAU-SER, NEIDERHAU-SER, JAMES PALMER, REID SIEVERTS, ROGER LARSON, JERRY FOWUES, TED BURTON, BUR-TON, GARY STOKES, IVAN HILL. JACK GARDNER, REUEL McPHIE, KENNETH MORRIS, DAVID WINKLER, LARRY NORTH, JIMMIE BOND, RICHARD LARSON, REID NEIDERHAUSER, and LYNN McPHIE MARY OLSEN very capably represented repre-sented the young girls in her talk on the Aaronic Priesthood Sunday night also. . . . The officers and teachers of the Primary gave their president, presi-dent, ERMA FURLONG, a pleasant surprise last Friday, when they walked in on her in her new home with a potluck lunch. ... Mutual officers and teachers with their partners will enjoy a dinner and party next Monday Mon-day evening at the Dnll House. An expression of sympathy is extended to the fam'ily of HARRY WONNACOTT, who lost his life in a plane crash last week. . . . The Relief Society is giving a luncheon next Tuesday, the purpose of which is to make some money for their treasury. Tickets are being sold for 50 cents and may be obtained from the visiting teachers or JEAN BROWN, Relief Society president. - . . . |
