Show Ward Members Honor Bishop With Banquet A huge bishop's birthday parly, combined with a building build-ing fund banquet and program, will be celebrated Friday" evening. eve-ning. May 19, at the Rosecrest LDS Ward chapel, 3101 So. 23rd East. In a sense, it will also be a farewell party , as well as a birthday party for Bishop Golden Haight, who will soon be moving from the ward. Host and hostess for the affair, af-fair, which is designed to raise the fluids necessary for completion com-pletion of the chapel furnishings, furnish-ings, are Mr. and Mrs. Horace-A. Horace-A. Sorensen. The event will culminate a five-year drive to construct and furnish the beautiful beau-tiful Rosecrest chapel. The finance fi-nance drive has also included the cost of a large parking lot, sprinkling system and landscaping land-scaping in its fund gathering. . All ward members attending -will be honored with membership member-ship in the "Second Mile Club."" Their names will be inscribed on a huge birthday card to be presented to Bishop Haight . They also will share in the division di-vision of a mammoth birthdav cake, which also will be used as a centerpiece for the banquet. ban-quet.
