Show Gus Farney Has New TV Show Gus Farney, prominent local musician-businessman, is headlining head-lining a new act on television. The new show, "Crosley Family Square Dance," will be a weekly week-ly feature over KSL-TV Friday evenings. Mr. Farney Is an organ-accordion stylist with a national reputation. His studios are at 776 E. 21st South. HOURS PROGRAM Mr. Farney and his square dance orchestra, the Crosley Buckaroos, will offer the music for the new hour-long 8 to 9 p.mj. program, which will feature fea-ture western dance stylings called by Roy Koerber. Each show will bring different dance participants to the floor, all dressed in appropriate costumes, cos-tumes, colorful and gay, illustrating illus-trating the many variations of the square dance. VARIETY SHOW As a special attraction, each week there will be square dance games, comedy, acts, singing and dancing plenty of entertainment, enter-tainment, .emceed by Francis Urry, long time a favorite local comedian. From 200 to 300 guests will be admitted each Friday evening eve-ning to the new KSL-TV studios, stu-dios, located at 145 Motor Ave., to watch his show in operation. Tickets for the performance may be obtained from Salt Lake City Crosley appliance dealers. |
