Calif., where they were royally entertained . . . The ALMA GOSSES, 1801 Elizabeth, spent last week Ln California. They visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Tijuana, Mexico- Daughter, DONNA, went along, too . . . BLAINE MORGAN spent his vacation up in Clarkston this summer sum-mer on the Vic Rasmussen farm. He spent one clay over in Logan Lo-gan with the CECIL SHARPS . . . GRACE ROSS is giving her Sunday School class a party on Friday evening at her home, 200G South 11th East Movies, games and lots of fun are being' planned for the evening ... There have been some changes made in the First Quorum of j Elders presidency. MELVIN BOND and ED ROSS have been' released as counselor and secretary and in their places MAX! JOLLEY and LOU JEFFS have been sustained ... It has been! almost a family reunion at the PAUL McPHETERS home, 1170 j Westminster Ave. Ann's sister, MARJORIE OLSEN, and her son, LEE, have been visiting here. Their home is in California. GEORGE ROTH and family came in over the week end from Vernal. With sisters DORA BROUGH and MARIE ROHDE close by the family has really been having a wonderful time. When the Roths returned home they took CAROL ANN McPHETERS back to spend a week . . . JEAN BATEMAN has been vacationing up in Logan ... It really took a downpour to dampeSi spirits at the ward outing. Just got our lunches spread when a few drops sprinkled on the tables Before long- those little drops grew into big ones and everyone had to scamper to their cars. The bishopric bishop-ric was serenaded from the mountain side while they were cleaning clean-ing up the picnic site, DR. E. ALLEN BATEMAN'S idea of fun was to serenade them with "It Aint Gonna Rain No More." |
