Show Steel Company Officials Map Visit to Utah, Geneva Plant A three-day visit with the people peo-ple of the state of Utah and an inspection of United States Steel's facilities at Geneva and Ironton, is planned by directors and officials of United States Steel corporation during their forthcoming western trip, officials offi-cials of Geneva Steel company announced today. The official party will arrive Thursday evening, Sept. 19, and after spending the night in Salt Lake, will leave Friday morning for a tour of the Geneva Steel plant, recently purchased from the government by United States Steel. The directors will be accompanied ac-companied on the plant tour by government and church officials, offici-als, civic and industrial leaders of Utah, and by officials of the Geneva Steel company and Columbia Co-lumbia Steel company, western subsidiaries of United States Steel. At noon the same day, the directors di-rectors and guests from Salt Lake and Provo, will attend a luncheon at the Geneva Steel plant. They will then continue on to Ironton for an inspection of the Ironton plant. After returning to Salt Lake Friday evening, the directors and officials will attend a private pri-vate dinner at the Salt Lake Country club. The directors and officials will visit the first presidency of the LDS church on Saturday morning, morn-ing, Sept. 21, and later will be guests of the church at an organ recital in the Salt Lake, tabernacle. taber-nacle. Following the recital, they will join the first presidency and other church officials at a luncheon in the Hotel Utah. The program will be concluded conclud-ed Saturday night at the Hotel Utah where the directors and representative citizens of Utah will be gugsts of Geneva Steel company at a reception and dinner. din-ner.
