Miss Lucile Richards Weds W. H. Cluny In Logan Temple A shower of rice and echoes of gay laughter followed new-lyweds new-lyweds Mr. and Mrs. William Howard Cluny as they left for their honeymoon in theNorthwest July 28. The bride, the former Miss Lucile Richards, is a daughter of a prominent southeastern couple, Dr. and Mrs. Lorin L. Richards, Rich-ards, 2248 Oneida St. She exchanged nuptial vows with the man of her choice in the Logan Temple. Following te ceremony later in the day an elaborate garden reception was held in honor of and Mrs. Joseph Kjar, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin J. Murdock. After proper serenading and fond wishes the young couple prepared to leave the gala gathering. gath-ering. For travelling the attractive attrac-tive bride, who was a former missionary in New England, chose a smartly tailored suit of white gabardine and blue accessories. The bride stood in a bridal gown of white satin with 'Seed pearl trim. Her veil was full length and swept along the train of her gown. It was caught to her hair by a crown of orange blossoms. She carried white orchids or-chids and gladioli. THE BRIDAL PARTY ' A sister of the bride, Miss Florence Richards, attended the new Mrs. Cluny as maid of honor. hon-or. Other attendants included Miss Barbara Kilbourne, Miss Lois Thorup, Mrs. Ward B. Rasmussen. Ras-mussen. They wore identical organdy dresses flowered in pink and blue. Mrs. Richards and Mrs. Cluny, mother of the bridegroom, chose gowns of turquoise with gardenia corsages. cor-sages. Doing the honors as best man was Dale Parkinson while Hy-rum Hy-rum Young and LeGrande Neer-lings Neer-lings were ushers. Miss Maxine Jacobsen was in charge of the guest book and Miss Margaret Stucki and Misses Miss-es Mary and Luanna Monson were in the gift room. RECEPTION NOTE A large wedding cake centered center-ed the white, cloth-covered tea table. Friends of the couple were delighted with the ceramic duplicate du-plicate of Lucile and Bill which topped the tierred cake. Gladioli Glad-ioli decorated the table from which friends of the bride served serv-ed the numerous guests who called. Among those present . . . Mr. and Mrs. Wendell J. Ashton, Mr. |
