Show HORSESHOE ! CONTEST The game that brightened many a lonely hour for the Utah Pioneers will be spotlighted by the Centennial commission beginning be-ginning August 25 when the U. S. National Horseshoe Pitching tournament opens in Murray. According to Arch Stokes, chairman of the Centennial Horseshoe committee, the five day tournament will get underway under-way each afternoon at two o'clock and continue throughout the evening under lights, until ten o'clock. There will bo more than 130 of the top-notch ringer experts of the nation competing for the title. A large number of ! entries are expected from Utah. The courts at the Murray fairgrounds fair-grounds have been rebuilt and lights installed to make it one of the finest horseshoe courts in the nation. |
