Show Sugar House Lions Install New Officers Monday Night A new slate of officers for the Sugar House Lions Club was installed in-stalled Monday night at the Salt Lake Country Club. The president's gavel was turned over to Henry W. Richards Rich-ards by Russell H. Midgley, retiring re-tiring president. E. R. Cayton, first vice president; Joseph H. Fisher, second vice president: Richard W. Wells, third vice president and Cal R. Wooley, secretary, are also on the roster of new officers. R. D. Shelton is the new lion tamer and Edward T. Hall is the new tail twister. The new directors for the club are Orin P. (Bob) Howard and Hyrum E. Facer who will be assisted by Marvin J. Ashton and Kenneth E. Lake, holdover directors. L. Reed Fairbanks was master mas-ter of ceremonies Monday night and Lawrence Oborn conducted the installation rites. Mrs. L. Mitchell Jones, new president of the Lady Lions in Sugar House, gave a tribute to the retiring re-tiring officers. |
