Show DOES BIG JOB ALONE Al Hibbcrd Named Oiairman Of S. H. "March Of Dimes" Al Hibberd, well-known sugar House businessman, was named chairman of the southeast division of the annual March of Dimes, according to word received this week. Mr. Hibberd is personally covering the large area assigned to him, distributing the coin deposit boxes so that everyone may contribute. The boxes this year are designed like an iron lung symbolical of one of the important objectives of the campaign. He expressed public appreciation apprecia-tion to George Smith for assistance assist-ance rendered in getting the boxes out. S. E. AREA Mr. Hibberd's area extends) from Fifth East on the west to the mountains on the east, and from Seventeenth South on the north to Twenty-seventh South. Every store and business firm will have a collection box, Mr. Hibberd promised. In 1950 the polio foundation spent $30,000,000 in helping infantile in-fantile paralysis victims. This year due to the great need the foundation wild probably spend $50,000,000. -; '; EVENTS SLATED - Features of this year's drive,-according drive,-according to Mr Hibberd, will be another "Porehlight Parade," where people who leave their' front lights on may contribute to fund workers; and a March of Dimes polio ball.
