PROPERTY TAXES CLIMB UP, UP, UP SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 11 General property taxes charged throughout the state of Utah in 1950 totaled $38,168,354, it was announced an-nounced by the state tax commission, property tax division, after completing compilation of reports from the county auditors of the 29 counties. This figure shows- that school districts, counties, cities and towns of the state have dipped into the pockets of the property owners for $2,310,876 more than they did the previous year., which was itself a record up to that time.
