Show Retired Vernal Men Visits His Family W. S. Henderson, prominent retiring businessman and civic official from eastern Utah, is visiting with his son and daughter-in-law and their family, Mr. and Mrs. Royal B. Henderson, 2128 Wyoming St. Royal B. is a well known local private contractor con-tractor and builder. This summer Mr. Henderson and his wife have been vacationing vacation-ing thorughout the state and in Nevada, visiting their seven children and their families. At present Mrs. Henderson is vis- iting tneir aaugnter, Ms. k. U. Lundquist in Kanab. - M. Henderson has been prominently prom-inently identified with eastern Utah communities since 1903 when he operated the Indian trading post at Myton. He served on the city council ii Vernal for 27 years and was County Treasurer for two years. Since 1935 he has served as Justice of the Peace, retiring member of the Vernal Lions this year. He is a charter Club, a member for 24 years-He years-He was associated with E.W. Davis Co. and L. H. Woodward Co. furniture stores, for a number num-ber of years. He was an early proprietor in the tourist motel business. His son, Charles R. "Chuck" Henderson operates the Dinosaur Motor Courts in Vernal. Ver-nal. In addition to Royal B. and Charles R. Henderson and Mrs. Lundquist, Mr. Henderson's other sons and daughters are-Ernest are-Ernest W. Henderson, Mrs Don Drummond and Mrs. Grant White of Logan; and Mrs. Frank Walker of Vernal. At the Royal B. Henderson home, Mr. Henderson is enjoying enjoy-ing his visit with his grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Rolaine, Sydney and Mary Kay. |
