Max Jacobsen, well-known h, southeast grocer, was elected president of the Utah Retail Grocers Association for the 1948-49 year at the last session of the association's two-day convention con-vention in Hotel Utah Monday evening. Mr. Jacobsen is the proprietor of Jacobsen Market, 2115 E. 21st South. The new president has been active in the association for several years both as a member and an officer. of-ficer. Two other southeasterners were elected to the association's board of directors. J. W. Zach-rison, Zach-rison, 3255 So. 5th East, and Wendell L. Cottrell, 1526 Down-ington Down-ington A.ve., were two of tap . 13 additional officers and board members elected Monday.
