Show Lovely Reception Thursday Evening Honors Marvin Curtis and His Bride Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Raine Curtis greeted friends at their wedding reception last Thursday evening in the Lion House. They were married that morning in the L. D. S. Temple with Spencer V. Kimball officiating. Immediately following the wedding the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Curtis, 1119 Westminster Ave., entertained at a wedding breakfast. tor ner weacnng gown tne lovely young bride chose an eggshell egg-shell satin with Bertha collar adorned in rows of lace bustle back and lace edged print sleeves. Her bonnet shaped crown was trimmed with orange blossoms and she wore a fingertip finger-tip veil of finest illusion. Her bride's bouquet was of sweetheart sweet-heart roses and an orchid. Mrs. Alvin Soderborg, sister of the bride and matron of honor wore a blush pink taffeta gown with drop puff sleeves, pointed waistband and bouffant skirt. Maid of honor, another sister, of the bride, Miss Myr- lene Romney wore a like model in dusty rose as did bridesmaids, brides-maids, Miss Dorothy Olsen, Miss Mary Kasteler. Miss Shirley Christensen and Miss Catherine Cather-ine Curtis. All wore poke bonnets bon-nets and carried nosegays of sweet peas. Dale Curtis was best man for his brother. Ushers were Clyde S. Romney, Harold W. Goddard Lorin G. Folland, Jr., and Marshall Mar-shall K. Brinton. Mrs. Park Romney, the bride's mother, wore a gown of royal blue with bead trim. Mrs. Curtis Cur-tis selected a pink gown. Both wore corsages of camellias and sweet peas. Fcr her honeymoon to San Francisco the bride wore a gray suit with short fitted jacket jack-et and silhouetted skirt with pink and black accessories. |
