Show Local Kids Win City Midget Baseball Title During the past week a group of young up and coming south-easterners south-easterners battled their way to the top in the city Midget baseball base-ball league. The Hollanders copped the championship honors hon-ors when they won the final game from Ice Creamery with a 6-5 score. Team members are Shelly -Burt, Jerry Frost, Wally Duncan, Dun-can, Jimmie Bond, Max Lowe, Scott Parker Bud Wickus, Sonny Son-ny Smith, Keith Peterson. Bob Doctor, Larry Bailey, and Lynn Pepetier, bat boy. On Monday the team enjoyed a gala day at Lagoon as the guests-- of their sponsor. Mr. Standard of the Holland Furniture. |
