Show Bond Quota Met At Westminster With a quota- of S400, Westminister West-minister college students and faculty members have purchased more than $2000 in the Victory Loan drive, President Robert D. Steele announced this week. An assembly program entitled "A Mexican Christmas" was presented pre-sented to the student body on Tuesday by the Spanish club. Under the 'supervision of Miss Grace .Rollings, members of the club sang carols and read a Spanish Span-ish Scripture selection, then demonstrated the breaking of the "pinata," or container for Christmas gifts. , Dean J. S. Boughton will be heard over KDYL's' "Church or the Air'-' Sunday morning, Dec. 9, at 9:15 a.m. Deanne Merrill, violinist, accompanied by Irene Holmes Stilley, will provide music mu-sic for the broadcast. The Westminster college girls' glee club, under the baton ot Elizabeth Hayes Simpson, will sing on.KSL at 6:30 p.m. next Sunday, Dec. 9. Rev. M S Hosteller Hostel-ler will speak Mrs Avanelle Woolley Vane and her brother William H; Woolley provided instrumentaf music for the chapel service at Fort Douglas on Dec. 2 |
