Show Tea Reveals Date Of Pair's Wedding A lovely social event of the j season was the tea Thursday at the H. A. Sorensen home, 3000 Connor St., at which Mrs. Sor-i Sor-i ensen announced the wedding I date chosen for the marriage of her daughter, Margery, to William Wil-liam Wareing Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Q. Cannon of 231 D St. The date is set for Friday, Sept. 13, in the Salt Lake temple, with J. Reuben Clark Jr. performing per-forming the ceremony. By way of Kmgs-X-ing any dire implications implica-tions in the date, the appointments appoint-ments at the anouncement party par-ty caried out a luck theme. Serving Serv-ing table centerpiece was a horseshoe of flowers, and tiny horseshoe cards told the wedding wed-ding date. Mrs. Sorensen, Mrs. Cannon and the bride-elect received the guests who were met at the door by her sister, Beth Ann. Little Kathryn Barnes and Marie Melville, Mel-ville, cousins of the couple, passed pass-ed the anouncement cards, and Margery's Chi Omega sorority sisters assisted with the serving. serv-ing.
