Show She's Now Mrs, Sutherland I Miss Carol Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Gardner, 1338 E. 7th So., became Mrs. Richard C. Sutherland in a ceremony cere-mony performed in the Salt Lake LDS temple Monday by Mark E. Petersen of the Council of Twelve. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Sutherland, 2818 Chadwick, and is in the merchant marine service. serv-ice. After a short honeymoon the 'young couple will go to San Francisco where the bridegr jom will await a new assignment. A beautiful reception at the Phi Mu sorority house was held Monday evening, and immediately immedi-ately after the ceremony a wedding wed-ding breakfast was given by the bridegroom's parents. At the reception Miss Virginia Bjorklund, maid of honor, caught the bridal bouquet. Other attendants at-tendants gowned in pastels were the bride's three sisters, the Misses Gwen, Betty and Lila Gardner, and the bridegroom's sister. Miss Patricia Sutherland. Daisies, roses and sweetpeas formed their colonial bouquets. Ray Gardner stood in line as best man. |
