Show Horse Races Open Monday MURRAY, Utah The new Salt Lake County fair grounds racing strip on its half-mile track, rebuilt this year, and with augmented grandstands to seat more than 2500 persons ill make its debut in a three-day three-day running race meeting, July 2, 3, 4. Races will be held each evening at 6:30 witn a guaranteed six running races by thoroughbreds, and when possible, with special events. Conducted with the cooperation cooper-ation of the Salt Lake County Horsemen's Association, there will be 150 thorobreds at the track from Salt Lake County, Fillmore, Delta, Payson, Spanish Span-ish Fork and Idaho points. Jyjch day, however, there will be one race run-limited to horses own-f own-f ' - ed and trained by horsemen of Salt Lake County,, r I In addition to the July rmet-' rmet-' ing there will be an August meeting during the Salt Lake Countv fair for which more than $2500 added prizes wiil be awarded. In addition to many improvements improve-ments on the racing strip and to the grandstand und parking accommodations, ac-commodations, there will be a new and modern starting gate, new, lighting system, new stalls, new paddock and many other improvements. Entrance to the track is just south of the entrance en-trance to Murray City Park. Racing will be conducted under! un-der! the supervision of the Salt Lake County Fair racing- committee, com-mittee, consisting of County - Commissioner George R. Mor-'- sari, chairman; Stephen J.
