Show SPRA6UE LIBRARY BOOK CORNER We are very proud of the lettering let-tering on the front door that gives giv-es the hours the Library is open. When you come to see us, you will notice that the Adult Reading Read-ing is open: from 2 to 9 p. m., except Saturday which is from 10 a. m. to 5:30 p. m. Children's Room is open from 2 to 6 p. m. daily and Saturday from 10 a. m. to 5:30 p. m. We at the Library will be very happy to accept late magazines of all kinds to be given to the U. S. O., either women's or .men's division. Magazines are very much needed in both places. So if you have no need for your old magazines, maga-zines, bring them in and we will take them to the proper place. We have received many new books lately. Besides the usual western and mystery, there are novels, biography, 'how-to does", etc. We like to call special attention at-tention to those, on defense and so have placed the new books of this type on a special shelf. Ask for them at the desk. An unusual biography is the story of a minister's family, members mem-bers of which are very normal human beings. Their story is entitled en-titled "Get Thee Behind Me", by Hartzell Spencer. ''Argentina'' by which is toid the Harry W. Flannery, is the same type of book as "Berlin Diary" by William Shirer which has been so popular for a long time. In fact Mr. Flannery took Mr. Shir-er's Shir-er's place on C. B. S. in Germany when the latter left. There are two new books on nutrition one by Taylor and the other by Silver which will be interesting in-teresting to housewives.
