Show Out East Mill Creek Way Vacation Fever Hits East Moll Creekers; Marriage Foretold Taking a two weeks' vacation to Chicago are Mr. and Mrs. F. Earl Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Fmk Russell. The foursome left Sunday, June 13, and among the many friends they will visit in the windy city are Mr. and Mrs. Vay -Russell, former residents of East Mill Creek. A very exciting trip is in store for Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Neff, Frances, Wayne and Jean Neff, and Mary Osguthorpe, who are leaving tomorrow morning for New York. The Ntffs are visiting visit-ing their daughter, Mrs. W. Colston Col-ston Leigh, and Mary js visiting her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Hawkins. Mary and Frances will remain in the east for the summer while the rest of the family will return to Salt Lake after a two weeks' visit. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Chamber- lin are leaving Saturday for a three weeks' touring trip. They will visit Yellowstone Park, the Canadian Rockies and Banff. Playing host to the Evergreen and East Mill Creek M-Men &nd Gleaners will be Joyce and Stan Johnson at their home, 3362 Oakwood Ave., immediately following fol-lowing church, Sunday, June 20. Guest speaker for the evening fireside will be President Gordon Gor-don B. Hinckley. Reciting marriage vows in the Salt Lake L. D. S. Temple on June 29 will be Miss Barbara Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Robinson and Franklin Frank-lin E. Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Earl Walker. They will be honored at a reception that evening in the Ivans Ward. They will be attended by Miss Denna Robinson, sister of the bride, as maid of honor while bridesmaids will include two sisters of the groom, Jean and Janice Walker, and Miss Rexine Anderson. The bride will wear traditional white satin and her veil will be fingertip finger-tip length. The groom, a University Uni-versity of Utah graduate, is at present training with the Naval Reserve at Pittsburgh. Arriving in Salt Lake on Saturday, Sat-urday, June 12, was Mrs. L. L. Bagley. She came from her home in California to be present pres-ent at the Neff reunion wldch was held June 16. Mrs. Bagley is staying with Mi. and Mrs. Louis N. Arriving home from England after being honorably released from his two-years' mission is Albert Eccles, who will reach East Mill Creek Monday or Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. Eccles was able to travel parts of Europe before returning to the United States. After successfully completing his first year at Yale medical school, Herbert Ungricht, son of Mr. and Mrs. John I'ngriclit, arrived ar-rived in Salt Lake last Wednesday, Wednes-day, June 16. |
