Show 5 ocieti DOING THE TOWN By Elaine Cannon Paul Langton and his cute wife, the former Franny Seaton, are telling the world about the tiny bundle that has come mto their family. It's another girl and she was born Tuesday. You can bet the small fry Langtons waiting at home will be all ready to welcome the new little sister when she comes home from the hospital. The Langtons live at 1569 Twenty-first East St. More baby talk of importance . . . Dick and Lucy Jensen Bcnnion have two boys now. The newest little boy made his debut into town Tuesday and friends may call round the family home at 13:32 Sunnyside Ave. in about a week to say hello. Lots of travelers this week with Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Tanner leading the list. They are on their way to points East. They left baby Lane with Elaine's mother, Mrs. A. Eugene Christen-sen Christen-sen 1407 Harvard Ave- They'll visit the Edward F. Kerechers in St. Louis (Katheririe Christensen) before returning home m about two weeks. Joe and FJisa AViithlin have taken Jane, Jody and Ann for a trip to the sea-shore. And were the kiddies ever excited about seeing the ocean. Elisa's sister, Fran and her husband, Sid Badger are living in the Bay City permanently, it looks . like. They've bought a lot and plan to build as soon as possible. J Aldon and Ginny Anderson are in Yellowstone this week. They drove up with son Jeffrey while little Scott has fun with his grandmother, Mrs. G. Weilenmann at the Weilenmann's new home on South Connor. We were speaking of the Badgers an item or so back . . . which reminds us that we saw Millie Badger Do-rius Do-rius (Mrs. Byron) and Mrs. Jack Jones, Mrs. Harry Puggslcy and Marge Thomas Thom-as Horsley lunching together togeth-er at the Country Club. 4 More well-known socialites spending the noon hour together togeth-er at the Country Club were Mrs- J. Gordon Sorenson and Beth Papworth Summerhays . . . At random here and there at the club .... Mrs. Stu Pett, Mrs. Clarence Nilson, Mrs. Robert L. Bird, Mrs. Richard Mulliner- Mrs. William Aspden, 2207 Sheridan Road and Mrs. Glen H. Lewis. 2156 South 23rd East, were co-hosteses at a luncheon Monday in honor of Mrs. Jack Cuth-bertson Cuth-bertson who is visiting her from her home in Pelham, I II II "l" ! N. Y. She is the former Marjorie Hogan and with her young son, Freddie, is a house guest of her parents, th Bob Hogans, in Ogden. The scene of the gay luncheon was at Betty Asp-den's Asp-den's home with the group of old friends having a wonderful won-derful time reminiscing and catching up on the latest "baby" news. Diamond talk is top on the conversation list in the Miles E. Miller household, 840 E. 7th South. Wetona has pledged her heart and hand to J. E. Chid-ester, Chid-ester, a son of Mrs. Ray Stevesn of Riverton. They are exchanging ex-changing their nuptial vows today at the Civic Center, 544 S. Main. A reception will follow fol-low with Mrs. Darlene Balm-forth Balm-forth and Ray Chidester as attendants at-tendants for the happy couple. Surprising their friends with their marriage news is Carolyn Sue Cring and John Lewis Egbert who have been "Mr. and Mrs." since January 17. They were married mar-ried in Elko, Nev. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Cring, 3408 Highland Dr., honored the couple with a garden reccp. tion at their home this week. |
