Show STATE HEALTH REPORT For the week ending January 5, local health officers reported a total of 467 cases oi communicable communicab-le diseases, 6 of which were non-residents. non-residents. For the previous week a total of 396 cases were reported, llof which were non-residents. The number of cases of chicken-pox chicken-pox shows an increase over the previous week. A total of 2fiS cases of this disease was report-1 ed. For the corresponding week in 1944, only 76 cases of chicken-pox chicken-pox were reported. Only one case of influenza was reported as compared with 2030 for the corresponding week in 1944. The number of cases of measles, German measles, and whooping cough remains '.ow for this time of year. Summitt County reported a case of tuberculosis. The patient is an adult male. Kane and Washington counties each reported one case of rheumatic rheu-matic fever. Four cases of malaria fever were reported from one of the army hospitals, all of whom acquired ac-quired their infection outside of the U. S. |
