Harrett was heading east on 21st S. when a car entering the intersection of 13th K. smacked smack-ed him broadside. He suffered back injuries and head cuts but is back on the job again- There's been a change of faces over at the Parish Realty lately-CC'arl lately-CC'arl Urown and Owen liring-hurst liring-hurst who were on Frank's team for quite a while, recently left to take positions with the War Assets administration, and Wililam E. Birch and Jack Sutton Sut-ton have joined the Parish force. Bill, the Parish's son-in-law, is a returned veteran, having served as an artillery captain in the European show. Sutton came from San Francisco and was with General Motors before entering the real estate line a couple of years ago. The Merrill Appliance Co., located lo-cated at 12th E. and 21st S., is closing negotiations for the Less Taylor Motor Co. building at 967 E. 21st S., according to M-H. M-H. Merrill, president of the firm. Less Was a long lease on the property, which will not be affected af-fected by the sale, but he has been planning for some time on moving to newer and larger quarters, after which the Merrill firm plans an extensive remodeling remod-eling and enlarging program. Associated with Mr- Merrill are Clyde Jerome Jr. and A. D. Lind-berg. Lind-berg. They have been operating operat-ing at their present location since about the first of the year. Before the war Mr. Merrill operated an appliance firm just west of Pehrson Hardware on 21st S. The new firm, with a staff of ten salesmen ready to go, handles all types of appli-anceis appli-anceis and heating equipment, including Frigidaire, Delco, Em-ers Em-ers on, Thor and Blackstone lines, and the Youngstown "sinks and cabinets. |
