Glade, Jnade social news this week when they welcomed home their son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marilyn. The visitors visit-ors will return shortly to their home in Palo Alto, Calif. From the society columns comes the information that R. M. Savage, a son of Mrs. Eva Savage, Sav-age, 1784 E. 39th South and Mark Savage, 6399 23rd East, has said nuptial vows with Miss Beverly Bev-erly Egbert. The ceremony took place Oct. 11 in Memorial House, Memory Grove. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moss L. Egbert, 353 Bryan Ave. The young couple was feted at a small reception following the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Huffaker, 3376 9th East are telling their many friends about the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, the former for-mer Miss Delores Huffaker. The bride is now Mrs. Cecil Dougherty Dough-erty of Tooele. The couple was married in Elko, Nev., Oct. 12. and are making their home in Tooele now. More romantic news ... The marriage of Miss LaVae Nichol and Gene L. Sheppard joined two southeastern families. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Nichol of 1710 E. 8th So. are the parents of the bride. The L. Sheppards of 6005 13th East are the parents of the bridegroom. The young people were married Oct. 15 and will greet their friends at a reception re-ception in the near future. The Charles Stephen Peterson family had some excitement in their home recently. Mr. Peterson's Peter-son's sister, the former Miss June Peterson, recited marriage vows with Ira Edward Houck. Sept. 24 was the wedding date. |
