Continuing their efforts to stamp out the black market gasoline gaso-line and the use of counterfeit or stolen coupons, the endorsement regulations for holders of E and R coupons have bee changed, announced an-nounced Hamer S. Culp, chairman of the Salt Lake City war price and rationing board. Beginning March 15, drivers of farm equipment may endorse a strip or block of coupons when purchasing gasoline instead of writing his name and address on every coupon as he has been doing do-ing in the. past. The same rule applies ap-plies to the farmer with a 50-gal-ton tank on his farm. Previously he was not asked to endorse -his coupons at all, but' now he must do so. ihe tank-wagon driver is forbidden to accept his coupons unless they carry the endorsement He may write his name and address ad-dress across a block of stamps, and may use an ordinary pencil instead of the indelible or ink endorsement en-dorsement required by other coupon cou-pon holders. AH customers are urged to ask for red and blue tokens in change for purchases or payment of salvaged sal-vaged fate, The red and green stamps now given as change will expire March 20, which will cause consumers to lose valuable points unless they request the tokens.
