HEALTH REPORT DISEASE SHOWS INCREASE Reports from local health officers of-ficers to the State Department of Health for the week ending November 28 shows a substantial increase in the total number of cases of communciable disease as compared with the previous week. The number of cases of chick-enpox chick-enpox increased from 225 to 243; measles from 25 cases to 62 cases, mumps from 91 cases to 110 cases; cas-es; scarlet fever from 8 cases to 29 cases. Local City reported 55 cases of measles; the rest of the State is ', comparatively free from disease. Q Twenty cases of whooping cough were reported, the same as for the previous week. One death from amoebic dy-sentry dy-sentry was reported from Salt Lake County. The patient had been ill for several months. This is the first fatality from this di- sease reported this year in the state. Other diseases reported were as follows: influenza 1, pneumonia 6 tuberculosis 6, gonorrhea 6, syphilis syp-hilis 5, and septic sore throat 1. The following counties reported no disease for the week: Beaver, Grand, Iron, Juab, Morgan, Piute, Rich, San Juan, Daggett, and Wasatch.
