Show SUGAR HOUSE WOMENS COMMITTEE REPORTS The Sugar House WomeiTsCom-mitle: WomeiTsCom-mitle: on the 2nd War Loan Drive reports the sale of Bends and Stamps amounts to $11,607.50 The committee is composed of ten Sugar House Women's organizations organ-izations and women members of the Chamber of Commerce. Women who have assisted in the April Drive are Mrs. S. A. Erskine, Miss Minnie Garff, Mrs John C. Barnes, representing the Sugar House Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women, April 12 to 16. The American Legion Auxiliary! Unite No. 65, took over the weekend week-end of April 17-18. Mrs. Clifford! Husbands, reported good sales at booths in Sugar House. Women assisting were: Mrs. L. W. Boyer, Mrs. James Gatherum, Mrs. Harold Har-old Davis, Mrs. John Grubb, Mrs. Paul Christensen, Mrs. Harold S.. Harding, Mrs Joseph Hughes, and Mrs. Harry V. Greene. Mrs Holger M. Larsen represented repres-ented ' the Chamber of Commerce and did good work at Penneys. Mrs. Reed Fairbanks and Mrs. Calvin Woolley, did well at Pen neys and Woolworths Wednesday although the day was slow in this district. They represented Sugar House Lady Lions. Saturday and Sunday May 1st and 2nd. The Irving P.-T.A. under un-der the direction Mrs. J. B. Anderson, An-derson, president, with Mrs. A. H Reiser; Mrs. O. B. Record, Mrs J. C Littke, Mrs. Scott Mil-lis Mil-lis and Mrs. Merrill Brockbank. we're in charge of the booth at the Southeast Theatre. And May 6th and 7th Mrs. John Burt, Mrs. J B. Anderson, Mrs. E. A. Dan-gerfield Dan-gerfield and Mrs W. A. Graves have taken over the Woolworth booth The Irving Jr., High School reports re-ports $7,219.30 worth of Stamps and Bonds sold during the 2nd War Loan Drive, April 12 to May 1st. In a "Jeep Drive" conducted March 1 to April 19, $6,190.54 was the total amount collected. This school is outstanding for the loyal support each student to such worthwhile projects. -1 |
