Show 1 L.D.S. Scouting Promoted In Nevada John D. Giles, field superivsor for the L. D. S. Church, has recently re-cently returned from a trip to Ely-Nevada, Ely-Nevada, where he went for the purpose of promoting scouting in L. . S. Wards. Mr. Giles reported that scouting scout-ing the Ely District, which covers cov-ers several hundred miles, has been very poor, but is better now than ever before. There are eleven elev-en scout troops and two explorer troops organized in the district now with possibilities of four more Explorer troops. Clyde Pearson, the newly appointed ap-pointed Scout Executive at Ely, attended the recent meeting held in Salt Lake with Dr. James E. West and cooperated in the leadership lead-ership conference conducted at Ely. KAY DIETERLE. O |
