Show DON B. C0LT0N to be C. of C. SPEAKER WEDNESDAY Former Congressman Don B. Colton will address members mem-bers of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce Wednesday, February 12th, at the monthly luncheon meeting of the group to be held at the Hall-Rogers Restaurant in Sugar House. Luncheon will be eerved at 12:15 Noon. Mr. Colton will discuss some phase of the life of Abraham Lincoln since Wednesday will be the birthday anniversary of the great patriot. Wendell J. Ashton, president, 'announced that a novel plan had been worked out to increase the attendance of members at the meetings and Hyrum Young was appointed to take the matter in charge. Mr. Young stated that the membership mem-bership has been divided into four groups and a member from each group has been selected to act as host or hostess for his table. It is this host or hostesses duty to call all members on his or her list and the table having the greatest number of members present at 12:15 will win a box of candy. The members names will be rotated in such a manner that every member in the club will be given an opportunity to act as host or hostess. Identification badges have been purchased and will be presented to members at Wednesday's meeting. meet-ing. Mr. Young also has this in charge. Mayor Ab Jenkins and Fire Chief LaVere Hansen will be guests at Wednesday's meeting. |
