Show SOUTHEAST BOWLING NEWS Last Wednesday nig-ht the big of the evening was Madge Garten's 622 series, one of the highest rolled by a lady in Salt Lake bowling history. Her games were 180, 219,and 223. The tie clasp given for high men's handi-cap handi-cap score went to Walt Fellows for 653, but Van Morley's 637 was high scratch. The Ward-Fel-lows team had 2165 for high series ser-ies and a 778 high game. Winner of the tie clasp on Thursday night was Orval Ames, whose scratch 638 was high series and 233 was high game for the session. Sid Neslen had a 613 and Nancy Neslen was high lady with 479. Neslen McGregor had 2047 for high team series ana Ames-Garten had a 721 high game. This week on Monday night the Smith-Hartzell team had high scores, 2036 series and 714 game. . There was a three way tie in the gentlemen's battle for the tie clasp, and Jim Martineau was winner in the draw. Ora Hart-zell Hart-zell was high lady with a 519 series and 213 game, while high scratch series was L. Lewis 582. |
