Show j Faulty Ammunition Found On Market Hunters, ranchers and farmers were warned this week by the headquarters of the Ninth Service Command, at Fort Douglas, Utah against the use of allegedly defective de-fective .30'06 ammunition, marked mark-ed as being manufactured in Mexico. Mex-ico. The warning was issued after receipt of information from the office of the Provost Marshal General, Gen-eral, Army Service Forces that a rancher living near Coalville, Utah, had been injured reportedly reported-ly after his rifle burst at the cham ber in firing one of the shells. It was reported that a large amount of the ammunition appears ap-pears to be of faulty construction and unsafe to use. It was stated that all stocks of the ammunition are being collected collect-ed and will be withdrawn from the market. |
