Show UPW Keus Utah Press Women's Club will be honored with a visit to Salt Lake City by Mrs. Louise Flynn, Regional .Director from Wyoming, on April 14th through the 17th. Mrs. Fiynn has expressed a wish to hear the wo rid-renowned Tabernacle Taber-nacle Choir during her stay in , the City. Tooele will be hosts to the Press Women in May, with arrangements being made by Mrs. Nona Shibley. Winners in various phases of press work have been announced by Mrs. Wanda Lund , Clearfield. Mr. Keith Wallenstein of Colorado judged the entries. There were many "multiple winners of "firsts" in the groups: Mrs. Dorothy Rea, Provo; Mrs. Betty Fisher, Farmington; -Miss Maxine Maraf Mrs. Wanda Lund; Mrs. Mabel Harmer, 1077 Yale Avenue; and Mrs. Olive Burt, now in Spain. Others taking first place in the contest were: Mrs. Marba Josephson; Mrs. Naoma Butterworth, 1121 So. 11th East; Mrs. Violet Boyce, Sandy; .Miss Virginia Baker; Miss Mary R. Jack, Murray; and Mrs. Betty Kay, Holladay. These entries will be submitted in the National Contest. |
