The background of Lynn Fluckiger is a rich one: Father of six children, an honor graduate of the University of Utah, a graduate of Harvard Business School where he attended on a scholarship and graduated with an MB. A. degree, a CP. A. with practical business experience, currently Deputy Controller Con-troller of the University- of Utah where he also teaches, and has a long list of of civic accomplishments. accom-plishments. In addition, he is a gifted writer and speaker, and as a hobby is a qualified pilot. When asked why he was running " for the office of state vice president, he made the following statement "The Junior Chamber of Commerce is an organization which can render a great service to any community. It provides young men with opportunities for community leadership which would not otherwise be available. "Over the past several years the Sugarhouse Junior Chamber of Commerce has grown in strength, but is still small relative re-lative to the potential of the community. com-munity. One of the areas in which our program most badly needs strengthening is coord- iiiation with state ftinctions. By sponsoring a candidate for a state office the local club will have opportunity not previously afforded to it to participate in state activities.
