' She expects to be graduated in i August and to begin teaching ; school in Blanding, Utah, in September. i Sterling is taking the sum- j mer off from his studies at t BYU. while his twin brother, Stanley, is enjoying a break after a year at the U. of U. ! Both boys are now spending two ' weeks with the National Guard i at Camp Williams. Vyonne Baker, 1692 Atkin j Ave., is just getting a good ; start in her college work. She ' is a second quarter freshman ; at BYU this summer ! j Furlough is over for Keith ! Davies, 1733 Atkin Ave. who left Thurs., June 19, for Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, for several weeks' work with the Army Reserves, Engineering Division. Keith spent two weeks at home with his family after completing basic training train-ing at Fort Ord, Cal. Just arrived Monday night is the tiny daughter of Calvin and Ruby Driggs, of 2822 S. 20th E.. She is the first girl born to the Driggs and will find two big brothers awaiting, her at home. Parents who take their children child-ren to Dr. Merritt Egan's office at 2000 S. 13th E. are lead to conclude that he literally lives with his work. The Doctor, a pediatrician, has decorated the waiting room of his office with pictures of his nine children. Barbara Heather, the youngest, young-est, joined the family only a month ago, on May 3. The Egans reside at 2900 S. Melbourne Mel-bourne St., where they enjoy swimming as a family in their backyard pool and holding outdoor out-door suppers on the lawn. The children are fond of music and are talented in playing musical instruments and dancing. Joys and adventures of grand-parenthood grand-parenthood will soon be familiar to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Westra, of 2740 Grandview Cirile. The Westra's daughter, Sharon, recently gave birth to the couple's first grandchild, a boy. |
