Show SERVICEMEN Army Pvt. Marvin L. Grant, son of Ernest A.. Grant, 967 Crandall Ave., recently part-cipated part-cipated in an air transportation transporta-tion exercise conducted by the 8th Infantry Division near Wiesbaden, Germany. Grant, an assistant gunner in Company B of the division's 12th Infantry in Baumholder, Germany, entered the Army last October, completed basic combat training at Fort Carson, Car-son, Colo., and arrived in Europe last May. National Guard 1st Lt. Richard A. Sweet, whose wife, Carlyn, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor W. Sweet live at 1750 Orchard dr., completed 22 weeks of active duty training train-ing at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, June 13. Lieutenant Sweet is regularly regul-arly assigned with the 144th Evacuation Hospital in Salt Lake City. |
