The difference between this and the ordinary choc- olate pie is in the consistency of the filling. Almost like th texture of a cake, this chocolate, filling puffs up hijrh and lit-- as its whipped cream garnish. FUDGE TIE ,Vi cup butter i2 cup sifted flour 1 cup sugar 2 egg whites 1 teaspoon vanilla ig teaspoon salt 2 egg yolks i unbaked 9-in- pie shell 2 squares unsweetened choc- - Sweetened whipped cream olate, melted 2 tablespoons chopped pecans Cream butter, add sugar gradually, and cream together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and blend. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted choco- late and mix well. Then add Oour and blend. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff, but not dry. Fold in chocolate mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in moder- ate oven (375F.) 30 minutes, or until pie is completely puffed across top. He is a graduate of Granite High School, and was formerly employed by IGA Foor Stores. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Lyman, live at 4101 S. 1135 East. Timothy, 27, whose wife, Shirley, lives at 774 E. 8425 S. Sandy, fired with the Utah Army National Guard rifle team in the recent National Rifle and Pistol Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. The annual month-lon- g com-petitio- n attracts many of the nation's top marksmen. Sgt. Timothy is a member of the 144th Evacuation Hos-pital at Fort Douglas. He is the son of Mr. and Airs.
