Show r Ministers Honored j At Luncheon 1 A group of some 25 pastors of I fsalt Lake churches was entertained enter-tained at luncheon last Friday I in Ferry Hall on the West-! West-! minster campus, and briefed on i the work of the College and 1 plans for future as scheduled by the newly-organized Develop-' Develop-' ment Commission. Dr. Frank E. Duddy, Jr., president, pres-ident, explained the purposes of the Commission and outlined the 10-year four million dollar development de-velopment program which calls for construction of a number of new buildings on the campus over that period. Dr. Warren S. Bainbridge, Pastor of the First Methodist Church, a member of the Board of Trustess of the College, Col-lege, and chairman of the Church, Relations committee of the commission, explained the responsibilities of members of that group in the development plans. Manford A. Shaw, pres- Army Pvt. Gerald L. Budd, son of Mrs. R. E. Hand, 475 South Grand St., recently was assigned to the U.S. Army Engineer Depot, Toul, France. Budd is a military policeman in the depot's 64th Military Police Company. He entered the Army last February, completed basic combat training at Fort Ord and was last stationed at Fort Gordon, Gor-don, GA. His father, George E. Budd, lives at 769 East Sixth, S. ident of Shaw, Inc., also a member mem-ber of the Board of Trustees, and chairman of the Individual Gifts committees, discussed the plans for his group. Following the luncheon the churchmen visited various buildings build-ings on the campus and several attended the football game between be-tween Westminster and College of Southern Utah. |
